About me
Courtney Hoolihan Campbell is a registered dietitian and board-certified health and wellness coach who is passionate about helping people improve their relationship with food, body, and health. She earned her undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, with a minor in Psychology, from Concordia College, and went on to earn a Master of Public Health in Nutrition from the University of Minnesota.
Courtney has always had a keen interest in psychology, particularly in the context of health—understanding why we do the things we do, why we struggle to do the things we'd like to, and what gets in the way of living the lives we desire. Early in her career, she spent five years working at a well-known eating disorder treatment facility in Minneapolis, where she supported individuals facing mental health, chemical dependency, and eating disorder challenges. In her work, Courtney approached conversations about food and health with non-judgment, compassion, and curiosity. During this time, she realized how many people could benefit from this kind of approach to discussions around nutrition and overall well-being.
It was through this experience that she discovered health coaching, which opened up an entirely new way for her to help others. As a health coach, Courtney has worked with hundreds of clients to explore their values, motivations, and beliefs, helping them set realistic goals to achieve their vision of health. Many people, she found, need a space to explore their choices, recognize what is no longer serving them, and clarify what they want to move toward. Courtney's clients benefit from her ability to gently guide them away from what is no longer serving them in favor of something new. Known for her compassionate and nonjudgmental approach, Courtney combines her expertise as a registered dietitian with health coaching techniques to help people reach their personal health goals.
